Coach Jacob “Jake” Tapia is a highly accomplished martial artist, a 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Prof. Eddie Bravo, and a prominent figure within the global 10th Planet system. He is known for his technical depth, creative approach to grappling and ability to teach complete positional systems rather than isolated techniques.
Coach Jake teaches athletes how to connect positions, control and submissions into repeatable systems.

Can I attend only one seminar?+
Yes. Lockdown and Truck are separate seminars. You may register for either one or attend both.
Is this open to college students?+
Yes. Students with a serious interest in MMA or no-gi grappling may apply. Some prior martial arts exposure is recommended.
Can beginners attend?+
Beginners with genuine interest may apply, but acceptance is at the discretion of Barbarik MMA.
Is the seminar open to non-members?+
Yes. A limited number of approved external participants from Manipal, Udupi, Mangalore and Kodagu will be accepted.
What is the seminar fee?+
Barbarik MMA members pay ₹3,600 per seminar until 15 July. Early external registration is ₹4,900 per seminar until 25 July. Late admission is ₹6,000 per seminar, subject to availability.
Is one payment valid for both seminars?+
No. Each seminar is priced separately.
Is WhatsApp registration a confirmed booking?+
No. Your registration is confirmed only after approval and payment.
What should I wear?+
Wear appropriate no-gi grappling attire. Final preparation instructions will be shared with confirmed participants.
